JB Homes Spotlight: Plan 1913

In this blog series we are covering some of our home designs so you can see why we like them so much. This month we’re covering our Plan 1913. This cute 3 bedroom 2 bath home is perfect for all types of buyers, from the growing family to the empty nesters. The house is designed primarily around the great room, which encompasses the living space and connects to the spacious kitchen. This home is somehow able to maintain a small footprint while still feeling spacious and being covered in luxurious amenities. The kitchen features a wet bar (also called a butler’s pantry) as well as a walk-in pantry and large center island with room for at least 4 bar stools for everyone to gather while you cook. But one of the most important places for amenities is the master suite. This bedroom features loads of windows to create a very light and bright room. The bathroom offers a walk-in closet, his and her sinks, soaker tub and separate shower. With a master like that it might be hard to leave!

Built with Materials that Last

There is no reason to worry about the longevity of a home like this. This home uses James Hardie fibercement siding and when painted looks just the same as wood. With double paned windows, gas furnace and fireplace and not to mention central AC, this home is sure to stay the temperature you want it without breaking the bank. With a thirty year roof on top you can sleep soundly knowing your covered with a more than average quality roof. Both the front and back of the home have covered patio space so you can sit and enjoy the outside any time of year.

Designed with Family in Mind

With the size of the gorgeous great room you are sure to host a few parties. The open floor plan means that it’s easy to carry on a conversation with someone by the fire in the living room and someone eating in the dining nook, all while you’re in the kitchen! The rest of the house is neatly organized, with the master bedroom taking up much of the living space beside the two other bedrooms with a bathroom between. The front bedroom has a lovely square front-facing window that makes this space perfect for a home office or bright bedroom.

While a quaint single story isn’t what most people think of when they picture a newly built home, Plan 1913 designed by JB homes proves that they can still make a big impression.
